Teaching painting “Beyond the Obvious” forces one to paint that way too! After all, one must lead by example. This series is built on one sea gull. What can one do, creatively, to a bird in twenty paintings or more to discover entirely original and unique designs? This is the goal of painting ‘beyond the obvious’ . . . . to reach a new place . . .to attain a new way to think about a subject and the design . . .to truly CREATE FROM THE HEART!
